The Kings Head is a pub on High Street in Galway city, in a building that has stood for over 800 years and once housed Galway's mayor. It has bar and bistro areas across three floors, with Irish whiskeys, craft beers and cocktails. Bistro and bar food is built on fresh, local and seasonal produce, with dishes such as crab claws, scallops and Connemara lamb. The pub brews its own Blood Red Ale in Galway. Live music, comedy and lunchtime theatre are part of the programme, and in 2026 it won a gold award at the Bar of the Year Awards for live entertainment. You can eat in.
