About The Bunch Of Grapes
The Bunch Of Grapes is a pub on High Street in the centre of Galway, in a row of buildings dating from the early 1800s. It opened in the 1980s and was named after a London pub that its owner had managed. The walls are hung with old artefacts and symbols of Galway's past. There is a small outdoor seating area on the street, and the sandwiches are made with bread from a local bakery. The café is upstairs, and you can eat in the pub too. The site where the building stands was once a school, and many businesses have traded from the premises over the past 200 years.
