The Strand Inn has welcomed guests on the sand at Dunmore East since 1963, when Isabel Foyle came to the village and took over the hotel. Her son Michael later ran it through the busy fishing-port years, and Edwina now runs the business with her children, Clifden and Louise. The restaurant serves seasonal Irish cuisine and fresh local seafood, with handcrafted cocktails and views over the Irish Sea. You can book a table, and the hotel also hosts weddings by the sea and a brunch by the sea.
