About Arán Artisan Bakery & Bistro
Arán Artisan Bakery & Bistro is on Barrack Street in Kilkenny, with a bistro for all-day brunch and private evening dinners, and a bakery making sourdough and pastries. Arán is the Irish word for bread, and the bread is made daily from flour, salt, water and a natural leaven or fresh yeast culture, then stone-baked in a bread oven. The menu changes with the seasons and includes imaginative takes on breakfast and brunch favourites. Natural wines, including sparkling, are served. Parties and private catering are offered, the bistro is wheelchair accessible, and dogs are welcome. You can eat in or take away.
