Locufy resolves towns and townlands from open data rather than calling a mapping service for every search. These are the datasets that makes possible, and the credits their licences require.

Where business listings come from

Some listings are created from public information about a business — its name, area, contact details and public ratings — so customers can find it before it joins. These are the sources:

  • Google — business details and Google ratings, from the Google Maps Platform (Places).
  • Trustpilot — Trustpilot ratings, where the business has a Trustpilot profile.

If a listing is yours, open it and choose Claim this listing; we check every claim by phone. To have it removed instead, write to us through the contact page. The Privacy policy explains how listing data is handled.
