The Poole Arms sits on The Quay in Poole and calls itself the oldest pub on the Quay, dating back to 1635. It is a family-run pub with a kitchen that focuses on seafood, including fresh oysters, mussels, crab salad, prawns and fish pie, along with other homemade dishes. The pub says it sources responsibly and aims to cook seafood only from well managed, sustainable fisheries. The bar offers a wide selection of cask ales and fine wines, and the pub hosts events on the Quay throughout the year. The pub also celebrates National Cask Ale Week. Staff are friendly, and you can dine in.
