About Platform Restaurant

Platform Restaurant is family-run and occupies two restored railway carriages and the old station ticket office at the former West Bay railway station, in the centre of the town. Guests can sit inside the carriages, which nod to the town's railway heritage, or eat on the sunny outdoor terrace, where the sea air comes with the meal. The kitchen works with fresh, local ingredients, from seafood to local meats and garden vegetables, and the menus change with the seasons. Each dish reflects its coastal surroundings, with a touch of fine dining flair. Lunches, afternoon teas and special dinners are served alongside Christmas menus, catering, weddings and venue hire. You can eat in or take away.
