Osteria

About Osteria

Osteria is an Italian restaurant on the High Street in North Berwick, East Lothian. Angelo opened it in 2006 after 25 years cooking in a top Edinburgh restaurant, and it quickly became a favourite in the town. His daughter Daniela leads the kitchen. She gained experience working alongside top chefs, and she now works with her husband Daniele to produce Italian dishes with a Scottish touch. The menu draws on simple, classic cooking, with pasta, grilled meat and fish, and the food appeals to seafood lovers. Everything is homemade from start to finish, an approach shaped by Daniela's grandmother's cooking. Ingredients come from local suppliers, so the produce reflects what Scotland has to offer. Angelo still looks after the front of house. You can eat in at the restaurant.
