About Light at Towner
Light is the restaurant and bar at Towner, the contemporary art gallery in Devonshire Park, Eastbourne, where the coast meets the South Downs. The menu is Scandinavian-inspired and rolls on over time, running from easy-going lunches and weekend brunches to casual fine dining. A horseshoe bar and a roof terrace give views over the townscape, and the terrace suits coffee, cocktails and everything in between. You can eat in here. The restaurant also hosts private events, including exclusive access to the gallery's exhibitions and cinema. Towner has been collecting and exhibiting contemporary art for a hundred years, and the restaurant sits within that setting.
