About La Delizia

La Delizia is an Italian delicatessen and eatery on East Parade in Hastings, set in The Old Custom House. The name means 'The Delight', and the idea draws on delis and eateries in Positano and Amalfi. Specialist Italian food and drink is the focus, and you can eat in or take away. The menu features Whitstable oysters, local seafood and fresh pasta. A meat and cheese counter serves panini and antipasti selections for a lighter bite. For dessert, the Crema di Caffé is an iced coffee treat, and fresh orange juice is on offer too. The deli side keeps Italian food and drink on hand to take home.
