About Herali
Herali brings aromatic, homemade Sri Lankan cooking to Aylesbury, with kottu at the heart of the menu. Kottu is shredded godamba roti, a thin wheat flour crepe, stir-fried on the grill with fresh vegetables, Sri Lankan herbs and spices, and you can have it with egg, seafood, chicken or mutton. String hoppers, made from rice flour, are cooked the same way. Other dishes include devilled paneer, a vegetarian option, polos kottu with rice flour noodles, egg and vegetables, and chicken and prawn fried rice with shredded vegetables and fried egg. The restaurant is on Cambridge Street, and it is a recent addition to Aylesbury's restaurant scene. You can eat in or order for collection.
