Harry's is a French restaurant on the seafront at Camber, inside The Gallivant hotel and facing the beach car park. Matthew Harris, formerly chef director at Bibendum, leads the kitchen, and the menus are built around classic brasserie dishes, many meant for sharing. Cooking follows the seasons and leans on local produce, and the evening à la carte shifts with whatever Matthew can find at its peak. At lunchtime the lighter dishes can be enjoyed in the bar or the sitting room, while at weekends a wider à la carte sits alongside a set menu, and roast beef is also on the menu. The setting combines careful cooking with a vintage coastal feel, and you can eat in.
