Cru

About Cru

Cru is a wine-focused bistro and bar on Hyde Gardens, in central Eastbourne. The kitchen works with small plates, seafood and steak, all cooked over charcoal, and much of the produce comes from Cru's own Sussex smallholding, Oak Hall, so the dishes follow the seasons. Wine sits at the centre of the place. The list keeps changing and is designed for exploring, and a considered cocktail menu runs alongside it. Cru has been operating since 2016 and presents itself as a neighbourhood spot. You can eat in, and booking a table in advance is worth doing for busier evenings.
