About Colombo 7
Colombo 7 is a restaurant in Old Amersham, on Chesham Road, serving Sri Lankan food built on old family recipes passed down through the generations. The family has roots in Colombo, and the aim is to bring a taste of that heritage to Buckinghamshire. The menu gives those recipes contemporary infusions of Sri Lankan flavours. The restaurant is passionate about sustainability and works with local suppliers, which also helps support independent businesses in Britain and Sri Lanka. Cinnamon Gardens, the affluent Colombo district the restaurant's full name refers to, is known for stylish cafes, galleries and street food, and for the cinnamon plantations that once covered its land. You can eat in or take away.
