Booh

About Booh

Booh is a restaurant in Hastings Old Town, run by a husband-and-wife pair on George Street. The menu leans towards seafood and steaks, with plenty of choice for those who prefer other dishes. Starters include miso glazed scallops, mackerel pâté and Korean glazed chicken wings, and oysters are served several ways, from naked to drunk with a Bloody Mary granita. The kitchen also makes pies, among them chicken with chestnut mushroom and tarragon, Sussex beef with blue cheese and onion, and venison haunch with dark chocolate, alongside beer battered fish and chips. Much of the food and drink is sourced locally, supporting nearby farms, breweries and businesses. Booked tables are yours for the evening with no time restraints, and you can eat in.
