One score from every reviewGoogle, Trustpilot and Locufy reviews combined into one score, weighted by how many there are — so a 5.0 from three reviews does not outrank a 4.8 from three hundred.

Questions people ask

Building work is priced per job from drawings, not by the hour. Enter your town above for quotes from builders near you.

Many extensions are exempt up to a size limit; your builder or an architect will tell you which applies.

A single-storey extension is usually three to five months on site, weather allowing.

A staged payment schedule tied to work completed is normal; a large payment up front is not.
