About The Spotted Dog
The Spotted Dog is a relaxed restaurant in the centre of Dundalk, serving modern Irish food in a cosy space with a sheltered, heated courtyard outside. Brothers Brendan, the chef, and Vincent, the manager, opened it in December 2017. The name comes from Brendan's first efforts at baking, when he made the traditional spotted dog. The kitchen uses mainly produce from County Louth and the Boyne Valley, with some ingredients from the owners' own garden. The menu caters for vegetarians, vegans and people who need gluten-free dishes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served, and you can dine in or take away. Booking online is available.
