About The Duck Restaurant
The Duck Restaurant is a café bar and restaurant in restored courtyard buildings, set on the Marlfield House estate just outside Gorey in County Wexford. The space has a relaxed restaurant with a fire, a café bar, a glasshouse and a sandstone terrace that looks over the kitchen garden. The food is modern fusion and Italian, with light dishes such as antipasti, flatbreads and dips, salads, steaks and fish. Cooking uses ingredients from the hotel garden and the local area, and there is a plant-based menu. Georgina Campbell's Ireland Guide named The Duck Atmospheric Restaurant of the Year for 2017, and the South East Radio Hospitality Awards named it Restaurant of the Year for 2017. You can book a table online or by phone, and there is a children's menu.
