The Bishop's Buttery is the fine dining restaurant at Cashel Palace, on Main Street in Cashel, Co. Tipperary. It has been Michelin-starred since 2024 and has kept that distinction. The restaurant sits in the restored 18th-century palace kitchens, with original vaulted stone cellars beneath the main house that give it an intimate setting. The kitchen cooks modern Irish food shaped by the Golden Vale, using produce from Tipperary and beyond, and the menus change with the seasons. Guests can choose the tasting menu, a table d'hôte menu, or seasonal and festive menus, with wine pairings to match each course. Head chef Stefan McEnteer leads the kitchen. Non-residents are welcome for lunch, dinner and special occasions, and advance booking is recommended. You can dine in.
