About Taquila

Taquila is a Mexican restaurant in the heart of Galway, on Eglinton Street. It was founded by Carlos, a Mexico native, and his Irish wife, Melissa. The head chef, Andres Zubizarreta, also comes from Mexico. The menu is built on tacos and freshly made salsas, with indulgent desserts to finish. The tortillas are crafted from nixtamal corn, and nearly all the ingredients come from Mexico, with premium Irish meat added. Drinks range from margaritas and tequila-based cocktails to beers, wines and soft drinks. You can eat in or order takeaway.
