About Cava Bodega
Cava Bodega is a Spanish tapas restaurant on Middle Street Mews in Galway city. It opened in 2008, founded by JP McMahon and Drigín Gaffey to bring Spanish cooking to Galway. The tapas menu has more than 70 regional Spanish dishes. Dishes arrive to share at the table, in a communal style. The kitchen buys its fish, meat and vegetables locally. The drinks list centres on Spanish wine and sherry, favouring natural and organic bottles, along with Spanish and local craft beers and ciders. Tables can be booked online.
